Instructors history
In 1984 Paul and Chris Kelly began training at the Town of Newburgh Recreation Center under John Lupasello (Brown Belt).
Within a few months John's instructor, K.A. Lipsey, opened a fulltime studio on Rt. 52 in Newburgh where they continued their
training. Paul and Chris were promoted to the rank of 1st DAN Black Belt at the World Tae Kwon Do Association Headquarters

Tae Kwon Do followed. Over the course of the next few years Kelly's Tae Kwon Do decided to stay with Traditional Tae Kwon
Do and went on its own way under The United Tae Kwon Do Society until 1996. Having earned the rank of 3rd DAN Black Belt
outside WTA, Paul and Chris decided to strap on their 1st DAN belts and visit GrandMaster Son. They were invited back into
WTA and awarded their 2nd DAN in the fall of 1996, their 3rd DAN in the fall of 1997, their 4th DAN in the fall of 2000, their
5th DAN in the fall of 2005 and 6th Dan in the Spring of 2008. Chris still teach at the Town of Newburgh Recreation Center
